Ignou re-admission – The Indira Gandhi National Open University provides an option for its students to apply for readmission for their respective programmes in case if any of the students is unable to clear their Bachelor Degree, Master Degree, Diploma or Certificate programmes within the specified maximum duration.
The students can apply for re-admission as per guidelines and instructions mentioned on the back of application form. After applying for re-admission, the students can check out their status on the university official website.

The students can apply for Re-admission for the various programmes such as Master of Business Administration(MBA) or Management Programmes (MP), Master of Computer Applications (MCA), Bachelor of Computer Applications( BCA), Master of Commerce (M.Com), BBA Retail, Bachelor of Social Work (BSW), MBA(B&F), Bachelor of Arts (B.A), Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com), Bachelor of Science (B.Sc)., Master’s degree, M.Sc.(MACS), BTS, MTM ,MAPY, MAAE, MAEDS, PGDIS, DBPOFA, BSC(HOT), M.Sc(DFSM), M.Sc(CFT), MADE, MARD, PGDCC, MAGD, MAWGS, DME, MAPD, etc.

The students will be provided with an additional time period as per the university rules and they can continue the programme if they apply for the Ignou re-admission.
We have provided below the maximum duration of the different programmes and their re-admission validity as per the university guidelines:
