Ignou Division Improvement form – The Indira Gandhi National Open University provides an option for students to apply for appearing in the examinations again to improve their division or class. Sometimes the students left unsatisfied with their result and got the second division.
The university provides them another chance to improve their marks and as a result division also. The students who have completed their Bachelor and Master degree programmes and still wishes to improve their Division/Class can apply for it.

Who is eligible to fill up IGNOU Division Improvement Form?
The students need to satisfy few eligibility conditions to fill up an application form. These are mentioned below:
- The Students who fall short of 2% marks to secure 2nd and 1st division in the Bachelor’s or Master’s degree programmes
- The students of Master’s degree programme only, who fall short of 2% marks to secure overall 55% marks.
The students who wish to apply for Division improvement or class improvement can do so by applying for it on the prescribed application form from 1st to 30th April for June term-end examination and from 1st to 31st October for December term-end examination along with fee @ Rs. 750/- per course (for Indian Students), Rs. 2000/- (for SAARC Countries students) and $60 (for Non-SAARC Countries Students).
The fee has to be paid by means of demand draft which has to be drawn in favour of IGNOU and payable at New Delhi. The applicants can download the prescribed application form from the university official website www.ignou.ac.in.

Note: The students can apply for improvement in term-end examinations and not in Practicals/Lab courses, Project, Workshop, Assignment, and Seminar, etc.
