IGNOU MA Public Administration Admission 2018
Ignou MA Public Administration admission is offered by the university in both January and July academic sessions.It is one of the most demanding master degree discipline in the field of public administration among the students.

At present, the university is offering this programme only in both English and Hindi medium at all regional centres.
IGNOU MA Public Administration Admission, Eligibility Criteria, and other requirements
- Eligibility Criteria: The candidate seeking admission in Master of Arts in Public Administration programme of Indira Gandhi National Open University must possess Bachelor’s Degree or a higher degree from a recognised University.
- Duration of Programme: The student should pass or clear all the courses of this programme within the minimum duration of 2 years and maximum duration of 5 years.
- Programme Fee: The candidate seeking admission to it are required to submit the fee of Rs.10,800/- for the complete programme which has to be paid year wise @Rs. 5,400/- per semester. (Note : Please confirm the latest fees as it may change during the course of time.)
- Age Eligibility : There is no minimum and maximum age bar for this course.
Programme Objective
The Master of Arts in Philosophy (MAPY) programme has been offered by School of Social Sciences (SOSS) in the Indira Gandhi National Open University.It has been designed with the objective is to provide complete knowledge to the students on the nature and relationship of State, Society and Administration. It will develop the conceptual faculties of the learners on various administrative theories, postulates, models, processes, methods, instruments, techniques, etc.
In the offline mode, the students can visit their nearest regional centre of the university to obtain the IGNOU Prospectus and application form. The prospectus contains the detailed information about the course.It contains other required important stuff such as admission form, term end exam form, enrollment card, re-registration form, etc. The learners can also download the Student Handbook & Prospectus from the university official website.The students have to submit the filled in application form along with the prescribed programme fee demand draft to the IGNOU Regional Centre concerned.
IGNOU MA Public Administration Online Admission
The IGNOU MPA (Master of Public Administration) is also available in the list of programmes which are available for online admission. Therefore, the learners can also apply for IGNOU online admission if they have internet connectivity at their home or in their nearby. IGNOU MPA Examination
The university conducts the IGNOU MPA Term End Examination in both June and December months. So, it depends on the session of admission.The students who take admission in January session can fill up an application form to appear in the December examination. However, the students apply for admission in July session can appear in next year June examination.It means the students can appear in exams only after completing the minimum time for studying any course i.e. one year.
In the case, if any student fails in the exam of some subject, then he/she can appear for the examination which will be conducted in next six months irrespective of his admission session.

IGNOU MA Public Administration Syllabus & Courses
The syllabus of MPA consists of eight courses worth 64 Credits. Five Courses are compulsory and three courses are optional.
