It may be possible that results of all the students will not be updated by the university immediately. The university may take some more time in declaring complete results. So, the students should remain patient.
The Indira Gandhi National Open University conducts the term end examinations for various programmes such as Master Degree (MA, M.Sc., MSW,M.Com, MCA, MBA, etc), Bachelors Degree (B.Com, B.Sc., BA, BSW, BCA,etc), Diploma, Certificate, Doctoral (Ph.D) in the months of June and December every year.
The term end exam result is declared after 45 days the exams got finished. Sometimes few students need their Ignou result early for the purpose of taking admission in the other course or to submit the final grade card for job purpose.
For all these students, the university has introduced a new reform in the examinations scheme to help them apply for early declaration of result. The Indira Gandhi National Open University has provided an option for the students to apply for the early declaration of result.

Usually, the students who get an offer for employment or higher studies and need to produce their mark sheet/ grade card within the specific date, apply for the early declaration of the term end exam result.

How to apply for IGNOU Early Declaration Result?
The process to apply for the early result is very simple and straight forward. The students need to fill up the prescribed application form to apply for it.
The form with rules and regulations mentioned on it can be downloaded from university official website or it is also enclosed in the student handbook & prospectus for the respective programme.
The students need to pay the fee of Rs. 1000/- per course in the form of demand draft drawn in the favour of IGNOU and payable at New Delhi. They also have to attach the attested photocopy of an offer of admission/employment along with the form.
The request for early declaration of result for term end examination can only be made before the exam starts i.e. the students applying for January session exams has to fill up the form before 1 st June and for July session exams, they have to do it before 1st December respectively.
The university will consider these students as a special case and send their answer scripts for early processing and declare their result as a special case. The results for these candidates is usually declared within a months time from the date of conduct of the examination.
The Ignou early declaration result is allowed only for term-end examination and not for Practicals/Lab courses, Project, Workshop, Assignment, and Seminar etc.
